Solar - heating and electricty generation; We wish to find a company which has the technical and commercial breadth to advise us on a combined heating and power generation solution which can return unused power to the grid. Anyone know of anyone capable? In answer to the question, one company simply send us a brochure showing a solar water heating panel!

As a retired employee of an international energy company, I've certainly put this is my diary.

A few years ago when still working within, I thought that we were quite enlightened and the steady improvement we made over the years was making a difference.

It's clear to me now, that pace of change just wasn't enough.

SCRAP have given out 1000 cotton shopping bags-we've been given £1000 by UnLtd of which
£550 has been spent on organic cotton bags and we've been given 1000 cotton shopping bags by the Coop.
There are a dozen PBF shops and waitrose now hide them under the counter. We will be having a PBF Day along with many other villages, towns and cities across the UK. SCRAP has launched a 'Plastic bag awareness for schools ', they'll be burying 2 plastic bags-one compostable / biodegradable & one not. they'll make a series of reports on findings. Finally, we are very pleased to welcome the Bishop of Salisbury as our patron.

Hi,

Regarding the closure of the Fisherton Street entrance to the railway station, as mentioned in the Newsletter, the Public Consultation on the Planning Application is open now, until the 27th April.

You can object (or agree!) on the website at:
http://www.salisbury.gov.uk/planning/development-control/planning-applications/2009/0351/application-details.htm
and
http://www.salisbury.gov.uk/planning/development-control/planning-applications/2009/0352/application-details.htm

I'm not sure why there are two applications
